General Description

Ikusi continues to expand its range of TM70 remote controls. At this time it has incorporated two new pushbutton remote controls, type 1 and 2, which have the characteristic of having obtained ATEX approval, which refers to the use of this type of equipment in potentially explosive environments or atmospheres.

Consequently, the TM70 range pushbuttons can now be installed in potentially explosive environments, presenting powder or gases in 1 and 2 zones. The only limitation of the certification grade in environments with gases refers to Acetylene and Hydrogen.

The ATEX Directive (94/9/CE) entered into effect on 1st July, 2003, and from June 2006 any equipment, either used or new, which does not comply with this standard should be replaced.
